Bahr Al Farah — Sea of Joy — was founded in Dubai in 2019 by a team of designers who believed that the abaya deserved the same reverence as the world's finest garments. Not as a uniform, but as a canvas.
Every collection begins not with sketches, but with fabric sourcing. We travel to Japan, Italy, and France to find crepe, silk georgette, and organza that drape with the fluidity and permanence that luxury demands.
Our abayas are produced in a family-owned atelier in Dubai. Each piece passes through the hands of three master seamstresses before it leaves. Embroidery is done stitch by stitch, never by machine.
Dubai is a city of extraordinary duality — desert heat and ocean breeze, tradition and ambition. It is the only place on earth from which Bahr Al Farah could have been born.
